HAIR:
Things to remember-
Be sure your bun is a classical bun (center of bun should be in line with the top of the ears and centered on the back of the head), no bangs, and hair is styled straight back into the bun (no parts:)
People who wear half up/down and a classical bun during the show must position the pony tail for the half up/down style at the center of where a classical bun will be so that your half up/down pony will always be done and a bun will be done over it for easy and quick transition for changing hair styles.
Be sure to check and make sure you know what your hairstyle should be for all your parts
Be sure your hair is neat, NO WISPIES PLEASE. Hair spray and gel are what can be used to get your hair to stay back neatly with no wispies. For small pieces of fly away hair that do not stay down, use Bobby pins that match your hair color to keep them against your head. For buns, you should use a hair net for a neat finished look.
For curling hair, if your hair does not hold curl for hours and hours, we encourage you to have your dancer sleep in curlers, this technique makes curls last a very long time and is the best option for long lasting curls.
