Ages 9 and Up
**Auditions for younger dancers ages 3-9, will be held in October. These dancers are only required to take one class of any style and will only be in one dance for the show.
Technique Class Requirements:
Introduction to Ballet/Contemporary
1 Ballet, 1 Contemporary, Stretch & Strengthen
Beginner 1 Ballet & Beginner Contemporary or higher option:
2 Ballet, 1 Contemporary & Stretch & Strengthen
OR
Ballet Option:
Ballet level requirements, 1 Pointe (if eligible), 1 Stretch & Strengthen
*Please keep in mind that if you choose the ballet option you will only be eligible for the ballet dances.
Costs:
This includes rehearsal time, costume rental fee and your T shirt fee.
Cast A is $300
COMMUNICATION
Please keep in mind that the main source of communication will be through the www.dance4him.org website. The calendar, volunteering and any other important information will be posted there so be sure to check constantly. Please keep in mind that email is the most appropriate way to get ahold of teachers. Ms. Jessica will be the contact for all 3-8 year old's. Her email is [email protected]
COMMITMENT
Lastly we will know that you are committed once you fill out the commitment form on www.dance4him.org. Again if you have any questions please feel free to email Ms. Jessica or stop by the front desk!
VOLUNTEERING
Every participating dancer will need to have a mom (or adult female over the age of 18) volunteer to work 1 dress rehearsal and 1 show as well as one other job. Dress Rehearsals are at the studio the weekend before the show at Milford High School. There will be a sign up on www.dance4him .org if you do not sign up by Sunday, October 31 you will be assigned your jobs. All jobs are first come first serve. Due to the limited space in the dressing rooms we ask that when you are working you do not bring along siblings. Each family will also need to sign up for a pre or post job. This sign up will be sent out in October.
SCHEDULE/ATTENDANCE
A detailed schedule will be posted the Monday prior, by noon. Every rehearsal and show is mandatory. Once you have filled out your form, you are committed to all rehearsals and shows that are scheduled.
Please understand that all absences affect the rest of the company. Some absences more than others, but they all require more work and time for the rest of the group. Please do not ask to be dismissed from any rehearsal unless it is a very worthy cause. The earlier we have to plan for an absences the better chance you have of being dismissed.

- You do not have permission to reveal any information that compromises MODERN MESSAGES DANCE COMPANY. By that we mean the sharing of personal information about the director, staff, students and/or their families or any proprietary and/or confidential information is strictly prohibited.
- Students and parents should neither claim nor imply that they are speaking on behalf of MODERN MESSAGES DANCE COMPANY.
- Use discretion when posting pictures, including those of other students at MODERNMESSAGES DANCE COMPANY. Obey copyright laws.
- Never post anything that could compromise self-esteem of students attending MODERNMESSAGES DANCE COMPANY
- If you post videos of classes, rehearsals or competition performances, don’t post any choreography in it’s entirety. MODERNMESSAGES DANCE COMPANY owns the copyright to all choreography presented at the school.
- Respect the law, including those laws governing defamation, discrimination, harassment, copyright and fair use. Parents and students should never post negative comments about other schools, teachers, or events, including competitions, conventions and performances.
